If you are new to yoga we recommend you try our Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Happy Hips or Chair Yoga. Check our schedule for times.

Most of our classes are mixed level unless noted that they require experience. Look at our class descriptions – all the classes with blue titles, and many with green titles should be accessible to you. If you are not sure where you should start, stop by or contact us for a complimentary consultation.

For your first visit please arrive at least 20 minutes early so you can fill out the health form and waiver, and we can show you around.  For all classes, please arrive 10-15 minutes early and consider the time needed for parking, changing and signing in.

Yoga is best practised on an empty stomach, so for your comfort allow 2-3 hours after a meal.

Yoga is practised barefoot. Please wear comfortable clothing that moves with you.

Please keep cell phones off and avoid wearing perfume or strong scents.

How often should I come? In order to notice the benefits of yoga you should practice at least twice a week. Practising 3 to 5 times a week is enough to dramatically effect change in your body and mind!

What are the benefits of yoga? The list is limitless. Many people find stress relief and improved sleep early on. With regular practice, you can experience increased flexibility, strength, balance, cardiovascular health, better posture, digestion and elimination, and a calmer mind and greater focus.

Is yoga safe if I have an injury or health condition? Yoga can be very helpful for certain injuries and conditions, but it is best to check with your doctor first if you have specific concerns.  Please inform your instructor of your limitation before class, and do not push yourself . We can help you decide if the class you plan to go to is appropriate.

Do I have to be flexible to do yoga? No! Flexibility is just one aspect of yoga, but you will certainly become more flexible with regular practice. Not practicing yoga because you are not flexible is like not having a bath when you are dirty!
