Though simple yoga and mindfulness practices, students will learn self-regulation techniques that support better management of stress, trauma, addictions, depression, and anxiety. No hands-on assists in this class.
with Anne-Marie Reilander. Tuesdays, Aug 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, 4:45 – 5:30 pm (4 classes). In this four-week course, students will learn sun salutations and the fundamental standing postures, breathing techniques, and the philosophy of the Ashtanga yoga system.

In this safe one-hour class, we will explore simple yoga shapes, grounding, and breathing, and learn to make effective choices to help calm the body.

Are you curious about traditional yoga and want to develop a deeper understanding? The Intro to Ashtanga series will give you a strong foundation in posture alignment, posture names, breath and movement. A brief background of Ashtanga history and philosophy will also be presented.

Prenatal yoga is stimulating, relaxing, and stress-releasing — pure bliss for the mama-to-be. You will be led through safe yoga poses, pelvic floor strengthening, breath awareness, and savasana. Yoga helps you to develop breathing and relaxation techniques for an easier and more comfortable labor.
This mindful practice will introduce you to meditation while incorporating deeper rest and relaxation through restorative yoga.
