This intro to chair yoga is for those who want to explore the many benefits of yoga, but find a floor yoga practice out of reach. Chair yoga is suitable for people of any age, especially those dealing with chronic illness or pain, or physical limitations/injuries.
Thursdays, Oct 11th, 18th, & 25th, 1:30 – 2:30 pm (3 classes)
Though simple yoga and mindfulness practices, students will learn self-regulation techniques that support better management of stress, trauma, addictions, depression and anxiety.
Sunday, Nov 4th, 2018 – Morning and afternoon sessions
The morning session offers a led primary with Geoff MacKenzie, authorized level 2 teacher. The afternoon session is a posture development workshop, featuring a student-led inquiry into any and all areas of the practice where we encounter difficulty.

Yoga Dance is a healing movement practice. Through asanas and dance movements you are guided into your own inner dance. It is a powerful and beautiful journey.

In Restore Essentially, we combine the beautiful practice of Restorative Yoga with the support of Young Living Essential Oils to bring awareness to the present moment.

Are you curious about traditional yoga and want to develop a deeper understanding? The Intro to Ashtanga series will give you a strong foundation in posture alignment, posture names, breath and movement. A brief background of Ashtanga history and philosophy will also be presented.
