Intro to Chair Yoga

Please join Jane for a gentle by-donation* intro to chair yoga, and discover a yoga practice that’s healing, compassionate, encouraging, and fun! Using a chair as a prop to support your practice makes yoga more accessible for people who want to explore the many benefits of yoga, but find a more traditional yoga practice out of reach. Chair yoga is suitable for people of any age, especially those dealing with chronic illness or pain, or physical limitations/injuries.
We’ll use a chair to support us as we learn how to link breath with movement, and explore many of yoga’s beautiful benefits, while developing strength, flexibility and balance. Class includes optional supported standing poses. Modifications will be offered throughout.
